Monitor multi-technology computing platforms, interfaces and servers Responsible for ensuring a stable operating environment and attaining maximum utilization of system facilities Operates and monitors console systems and peripheral equipment Troubleshoots and restores routine technical service and peripheral equipment, schedules production runs, performs system backup processes, disaster recovery tests and loads consumables as needed Attend & participate in weekly meeting with Supervisor Provide Leadership to operators. Demonstrate Ownership. Follow Change Control Process. Publish Daily Morning Report Perform Operational/Administrative duties with quality. Provides technical expertise to aid in the creation of Initiative Proposals by Supervisor. Work with Supervisor to ensure that activities are in support of the Operations Team initiatives. Create, maintain & post applicable documentation for area of administration in the Operations Team share. Ensure immediate escalation of production issues to Supervisor or to the Director in the absence of the Supervisor. Participates in projects, as applicable. Provide Phone Support/ help-desk functions. Report distribution. Effectively communicate with supervisor, cross functional team leads/team members, clients & vendors. (both Written & Verbal). Escalate/Communicate all other issues/concerns to Supervisor/Director, as applicable.
A High school diploma, Data Processing/Operational Support School or equivalent. 1-3 year(s) of Computer Operations experience.
