POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Manager oversees and coordinates the day-to-day clerical aspects of Accounts Payable activity. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices, travel and expense reporting, and maintains accurate records and control reports. Participates in the development, testing, and implementation of all accounts payable and financial related applications and systems throughout the AtlantiCare Health System. Administrative duties include system user training, compiling and analyzing financial information, and assists in developing and implementing effective financial policies and procedures. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 - 7 years accounts payable management experience required. 5 years' experience working with an accounts payable system required, with a purchasing application preferred. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires desk/computer work a majority of the time.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position reports to the Director of Corporate Expenditures and supervises Accounts Payable Lead and Accounts Payable Representatives.
