POSITION SUMMARY The Corporate Director Imaging Services Director is responsible for the day to day administration of imaging activities in support of organizational goals. The Corporate Director Imaging Services coordinates imaging testing activities, ensuring that the work completed meets clinical and productivity standards. This position ensures the proper uses of resources, prepares the budget, participates in the purchasing processes, collaborates with physicians and staff, and monitors staff scheduling and assessment. The Corporate Director develops operational and procedural plans for the Imaging Departments. The Corporate Director provides leadership for effective quality assurance programs and ensures that the imaging departments maintain their accreditations. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Master's degree in related field, LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed by the State of NJ, Dept of Environmental Protection. Registered ARRT required. HSCPR required EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years management experience required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 90 days from date of hire. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. Knowledge of and strict compliance with all regulatory and accreditation is required as an employment condition. WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the laboratory environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, blood-borne pathogens, and potential injury. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position reports to department leadership and supervises incumbents as assigned.
