Medical Technologist - Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory/Blood Bank Technologist implements the hospital's mission, goals, and objectives by exemplifying the short- and long-term vision, values, and goals of the department by providing professional clinical laboratory science services in the department sections, including performance of clinical laboratory examinations, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management, and other functions toward the attainment of these goals.

• At least (1) year experience preferred.
• Licensure by the state board of clinical laboratory personnel as a Medical technologist. Board-registered or eligible for registry as a medical technologist (clinical laboratory scientist) or specialist in a specialty field. Preferably board-registered with one of the national registries associated with laboratory practice (NCA, ASCP, etc.) as a generalist or clinical specialist.
