Nutrition Services:
The Nutrition Services Department employs about 240 staff and serves approximately 1500 patient meals and more than 5000 employee and guest meals daily.
The goal of Nutrition Services is to provide excellent care to patients and their families during their visit to Vanderbilt Medical Center.

JOB SUMMARY:
Independently maintains detailed standards of sanitation for all patients, staff and visitor reusable food vessels. here.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scrapes, stacks, loads, and washes dishes and tableware and utensils in dishwashing machine or by hand, according to instructions. Unloads and stores tableware and utensils.
- Sanitizes food carts and dishwashing counters after each meal, and keeps dishwashing area clean at all times.
- Assist with care of floors in department by sweeping and/or mopping
- Empty trash cans daily and clean them thoroughly. Replace liners and return cans to stations
- Performs other cleaning tasks according to established schedules.
