Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the CSU Coordinator/Nurse Manager will coordinate and supervise personnel providing care to the residents and all components of the CSU (Crisis Stabilization Unit) and Child and Adolescent Acute Unit. Has addition responsibility and accountability to assist the coordination of Nursing Services. The Nurse Manager will also have overall responsibility and accountability for the coordination of Nursing Services in the Residential Program and Acute for children/adolescents. Provides the supervision of employees within the CSU department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the CSU program. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
