Job Summary:
Asist in patient intake, registration, and answering phones. Assists daily billing charges by checking chart documentation with billing reports on all patients resolving any problems. Assists Billing Administrator with accuracy of insurance authorization and precertification . Assists with auditing all charts for accuracy of billing data and documentation. Acts as physician billing liaison between the facility and billing company (SSC).
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. Prior physician billing or healthcare related billing experience strongly preferred.
