Description The Residency Program Assistant for the Family Medicine (FM) Residency Program provides project and administrative support to the Post-Graduate Training Program. Specified areas of responsibility include the following:
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent, associate degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:
SKILLS: Expertise in performing computer and word processing applications particularly Microsoft Windows applications including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Working knowledge of web page management, web-based data site management and maintenance. Excellent reading, writing and editing skills in English. Ability to multi-task and to work independently. Resourceful, self-motivated.
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities as listed, including responsibilities requiring independent and critical decision-making.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION: Responsible to: Residency Coordinator (Direct Supervisor) and Director, Trauma & Medical Education.
ENVIRONMENT: Bloodborne pathogen A Works in a clean, well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Working hours vary, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies. Requires the ability to speak, listen, develop and communicate written materials.
