This very important and visible role, based at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI) for women, will oversee the clinical care of this inmate population while providing key administrative oversight of all medical staff and healthcare related protocols and quality initiatives. Additional highlights of this leadership position include: - Physician Supervisor to be based at TCI, with two other nearby facilities involved in administrative oversight
- Ratio of clinical/administrative duties at about a 60/40 mix
- Flexibility to create your own weekly schedule; Monday through Friday with no clinical on-call responsibilities
- Tremendous clinical staff of NP's, RN's and MA's; plus available services such as dental, optical, PT, RT, mammography
- Clinical facility offers onsite lab, x-ray/ultrasound, multiple exam rooms, EMR; plus a new 25-bed infirmary opening soon
- Telemedicine now available within the clinic
- Behavioral health services/facility on campus (with full-time psychiatrists)
